She is just 25 and already she is out of ‘faour’ among Tamil film directors and film-makers. Nothing can explain the strange phenomenon which has made the bubbly Hansika jobless in Tamil films.
Bogan, her lone film on hand, released yesterday (02nd February) in theatres to mixed reviews from movie-goers and critics. Speaking to newsmen on the eve of the release of Bogan, Hansika said that she never believed in working simultaneously in more than one film as it would hardly allow the concerned artiste to do justice to his/her talents.
“I’ll take one at a time,” she said even as reports say that she is all set for her Mollywood debut as she has been signed up to play an important role in Malayalam megastar Mohanlal’s upcoming film. The film incidentally marks the Mollywood debut of Vishal too, albeit in a negative role.
“I’m just 25 and not 35 and I’ll wait for good offers to come my way,” Hansika replied to a question whether she was waiting for heroine-oriented roles alone. “Heroines tend to do so late in their career but I’m only 25 and I prefer waiting for good characters to come my way,” concludes Hansika.
