Actor ‘Jayam’ Ravi has said that he would be starring in director Vijay’s next film without taking any money as his fee if his upcoming film Vanamagan flopped at the box-office.
Assuring that the film would do well, ‘Jayam’ Ravi said that in case if things went wrong, he would keep up his promise. The film, which has sizzling 19-year old debutant Sayyeshaa Saigal as his heroine, is hitting the screens this Friday (23rd June) across theatres in the State.
Ravi was taking part at the meet-the-press event held on the eve of the film’s release. “I’m sure and confident that the film would do very well at the box-office. In case things go wrong and if it flops, I assure that I’d be starring in Vijay’s next directorial venture without taking single paise as my fee,” he assured.
“Vijay loves films like his life and only he can make films such as Vanamagan which is all about tribal communities who live like flocks of birds,” he said and appealed to his fans and movie-goers to patronize the film by watching it only in theatres.
