Andrea Jeremiah has said that she felt absolutely comfortable in locking lips with her co-star Siddharth in her upcoming film titled as Aval.
Andrea, who has had a fantastic year so far with the release of Ram’s Taramani and Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan, is gearing up for her third release this year. The film’s Hindi (‘The House Next Door’) and Telugu (‘Gruham’) versions are to release simultaneously in theatres on 03rd November along with the Tamil version.
Besides essaying the male lead, actor Siddharth has doubled up as the producer of this horror-thriller drama. Atul Kulkarni plays an important role in the film which has music by Girishh and is cinematographed by Shreyaas Krishna. The film’s shoot was wrapped up long back and it now releases many months after the completion of shoot.
A song sequence featuring Siddharth and Andrea reportedly has them locking lips for seven times and for 15 times throughout the film. Andrea, when queried about the steamy lip-locks, replied in a very casual manner. “Earlier, films were far-fetched from reality but of late it has come closer to reality. Lip-lock sequences, which have become regular in real life, are included in films too.
“In my opinion, locking lips isn’t a bit deal be it on-screen or off-screen. I don’t know why so much fuss is being made about it. I feel like laughing out loud when I’m asked if I was ‘pressurized’ by Siddharth to star in lip-lock sequences. Come on guys, after all, I’m not a kid who can be forced to do something. We did it whole-heartedly similar to the manner in which have starred in other sequences,” Andrea explains.
