Going back on her earlier decision not to pair up opposite frontline heroes (fearing her role would be limited only to appearing in song sequences), Nayantara is said to have said ‘yes’ to pairing up opposite Vishal in an untitled new film.
Busy with projects such as Aram, Imaikka Nodigal and Kolaiyudhir Kaalam, Nayantara is said to be preferring only heroine-oriented projects of late. She is said to be consciously avoiding films opposite frontline heroes as her roles in those films won’t give her much scope to perform and would only be limited to singing duets.
She is said to have said ‘no’ to a few film projects in Tamil and Telugu keeping in mind her decision. As always, her market is going stead as the ‘No.1’ actress in Tamil films and Nayan is said to be determined to continue in the same mode.
In the meantime, she is said to have given her consent to star opposite Vishal in a new, untitled film to be directed by director Socrates who made the Sasikumar-starrer Bramman some time back. Socrates was to direct Vikram in a film but as the project was abandoned, he has been roped in by Vishal to direct his next film.
