The unassailable combination of actor Ajith Kumar and director Siva is back: the duo would soon start working on their fourth venture together.
After making Veeram (which pitted Ajith opposite ‘milky beauty’ Tamannaah for the first time) a few years back, Siva made Vedalam starring Ajith Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead in 2015 and followed it up with the Ajith Kumar-Kajal Aggarwal-Akshara Haasan-Vivek Oberoi starrer Vivegam which released a few months back. The duo is now joining hands for the fourth time in making Ajith’s next film.
To be the 58th film in Ajith’s career, the film would be produced again by Satyajyothi Films, which produced Vivegam which was shot majorly in Europe. Announcement that Ajith’s next film would be produced by Satyajyothi Films and would be directed by Siva also puts to rest rumours which appeared in the media stating that Ajith wasn’t happy with Siva’s work in Vivegam and that Satyajyothi Films too felt dissatisfied.
Reports even said that the husband-wife duo of Pushkar-Gayathrie, which has just delivered a super-duper hit film in the form of the Madhavan-Vijay Sethupathi starrer Vikram Vedha, might get to direct Ajith in his next venture. Ajith’s 58th film remains untitled as yet even as the rest of the cast members and technicians are being finalized.
