At the audio-launch of her upcoming film Mupparimanam held yesterday in the city, actress Srushti Dange recalled all the trouble she underwent during the film’s shoot.
Shantanoo and Srushti appear as on-screen pair for the first time in the to-be-released Mupparimanam helmed by debutant director Adhiroopan, who had earlier worked under mercurial producer-director Bala. The event was held at the Prasad Previw Theatre in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Srushti said “I loved the script of Mupparimanam narrated by Adhiroopan and agreed to star in the film. I faced immense difficulties during the film’s shoot as the director had made it clear that there shouldn’t be unnecessary chatting or talk during the breaks in shoot, due to which I couldn’t even converse regularly with my family members.
“I even cried at one point of time due to the ‘strict regulations’ in force during the film’s shoot. When I told Adhiroopan that I wanted to walk out of the film, he convinced me to continue to star in it and complete the film’s shoot. Now, when I see the final version, I realize that the film is worth all the trouble that I underwent. I’m sure this film would be a turning point in my career,” concluded Srushti, the dimpled beauty of Kollywood.
