Sonakshi Sinha, who played superstar Rajinikanth’s heroine in her only Tamil film Lingaa (2014), has said that she would sure love to pair up opposite Vijay whom she termed as a ‘good’ actor.
Sonakshi, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth’s close friend and Bollywood hero-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, debuted as Salman Khan’s heroine in the super-hit Dabangg (remade in Tamil as Osthe) in 2010. Though she was plump-looking initially, the actress didn’t regret her looks. She has, however, pumped hard at the gym and has now acquired an enviable hour-glass figure.
She played the hero(ine) in last year’s Akira which was produced and directed by A.R. Murugadoss. It is now rumoured that she would be starring in her second Tamil film soon by pairing up opposite Vijay in Murugadoss’ next untitled venture which may go to the floors in the second half of this year.
“I’m ready to star in Murugadoss Sir’s next film as I have already worked with him in a couple of films. I have watched Vijay’s Thuppakki and Kaththi and feel he is a good actor. I sure won’t let go an opportunity to pair up opposite him,” Sonakshi says.
