‘Milky beauty’ Tamannaah, who is busy with her projects in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, visited the Goddess Durga’s temple at Vijayawada and offered special prayers apparently seeking divine intervention to ensure that her career goes on smoothly at least for the next couple of years.
Tamannaha, who turned 28 last December, still manages to retain her ‘hourglass’ figure and her unmatched complexion has only made her prettier though she is in her late twenties. The actress, who also endorses commercial products and runs an online store of designer jewellery, has paired up opposite almost all the leading heroes in Tami and Telugu film industry during the past 12 years.
Kedi, her first film in Tamil ironically depicted her in a negative role and it also marked the curvaceous Ileana D’Cruz’s film debut too. She had a brief lull in her career a couple of years back but has since bounced back with hits such as Baahubali, Thozha, Dharma Durai, Devi and Kaththi Sandai. Last year’s Anbanavan Adandadhavan Asaradhavan opposite Simbu was her lone failure in recent times.
She didn’t regret that her sequences in Baahubali 2 were pruned down. She is now looking forward to the release of her Sketch (opposite ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram) in theatres in a few weeks’ time. Tamannaah’s visit to the Durga Temple at Vijayawada along with mother Rajani Bhatia was low-key affair even as she offered ‘special pooja’ and prayed hard!
