Remember Dr. Rajasekhar, who rocked in Tamil films in the early nineties with his Tamil-dubbed films such as Idhuthaanda Police? His daughter Shivani is now all set to make her debut in Tamil films as heroine.
Shivani has already started do shoot for her debut film as heroine in Telugu. Her launch pad in Tamil would be produced by actor Vishnu Vishal who has produced some successful ventures in the past. The shoot of the untitled film is to commence in April.
Rajasekhar, married to actress Jeevitha, debuted as an antagonist in Tamil films in the eighties with ace director Bharathiraaja’s Pudhumai Penn but later went on to become a frontline hero in Tollywood and had a successful release last year in Telugu. He even danced with the sizzling Sunny Leone for an ‘item number’ in the film.
Shivani, who is pursuing medicine, is excited about making her debut in Tamil films opposite Vishnu Vishal. The film also marks popular playback singer Krrish’s debut as music director. Tweeting on his Twitter account, Vishnu Vishal revealed that his next venture would have Shivani as heroine. “I welcome Shivani to Kollywood our fourth production venture,” he has tweeted.
