What’s hot and What is not:
Film’s on tribals and their life are only rare to see on bigscreens and director Vijay seems to have done enough research on their way of living in the forests which is completely isolated from the rest of the world.
Apart from Jayam Ravi, it is the debuting heroine Sayyesha who has stealed the show. Though she has already done a film in Telugu, this film will surely give her a breakthrough in Kollywood. Though this album wasn’t his best, Harris Jayaraj’s music worked very well.
On the negative side, Vanamagan too has logical glitches and the draggy screenplay, runtime too upsets us.
On the whole, Vanamagan is a watchable movie with a good message.
